is the resident theatre company at Creek Creative Studios, Faversham.
The Company was created by Caroline Lamoon & S-J Vant, both experienced professionals in theatre and education.

THE COMPANY

 CAROLINE LAMOON                                                                                                                                      trained at the University of Wales. She has taught Drama for over 20 years, having taught at KS3, 4 & 5 & at HE level. She has done a work placement at the National Theatre & was a freelance education practitioner for their Education Department. She spoke at a National Theatre conference about the function of theatre in a educational context. She has also studied acting at the National Theatre, including studying Brecht’s Epic Theatre with a member of the Berliner Ensemble and Greek Theatre & the Chorus with actors from Peter Hall’s company. She also worked with Charlotte Keatley in an actors’ workshop at the National Theatre for “My Mother Said I Never Should”. Recently she did an acting workshop with Max Stafford-Clark of the Joint Stock Theatre Company. She was a founder member of AshCan Theatre Company.

ACTING credits include: “Peer Gynt”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “He Who Says Yes, He Who Says No (Der Jasager), “A Month in the Country”, TIE Touring Schools Project (Birmingham), “Death & The Maiden” (Canterbury Festival) “The Crucible”, “Old Times”   

LIGHTING DESIGN credits include: “Waiting for Godot”, “Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me”, “Duck Variations”, “Zoo Story”, “The Graduate”, “Death & the Maiden”, ”The Last Yankee”, “Cold Comfort Fram” 

DIRECTING credits include: Touring production of “West Side Story”, “The Crucible”, touring production of “Time & Time Again”, “Oedipus the King” (Canterbury Festival), “Zoo Story”, “Duck Variations”, “Richard III”, “Twelfth Night”, ”Mother Courage”, “Macbeth”. Caroline has also written a stage version of “The Wall” by Pink Floyd

 

S-J VANT                                                                                                                                                               trained at The London Theatre School. She has taught stage fighting at Rose Bruford, East 15 Drama School, ALRA & London Theatre School. She has also also co-directed “Richard III” & “Twelfth Night for the Shakespeare Schools Festival.

PROFESSIONAL ACTING credits include: “The Master Forger”, “Present from the Past”, “Run for your Wife”, “Don’t Rock the Boat”, “Life begins at Forty”, “The Mousetrap” (International Tour), “Twelfth Night”, “Doctor Faustus”, “The Mothers”, “The Changeling”, “Blithe Spirit”, “The Lesson”    

EDINBURGH FRINGE PERFORMANCES include: “Tartuff”, “The Darkness”, “Stage Talkies”   

RADIO credits include: “Space Rocks”, “Bite Me”, Detectives in Space”, “Mother Chip”, “Love Lane”

S-J has also been actively involved in amateur theatre work in the Canterbury area. ACTING credits include: “Old Times”, “The Last Yankee”, “My Mother Said I Never Should”, “Seasons Greetings”, “An Inspector Calls”, “All About Love”
