News on Arts Council Funding

We are delighted to announce that the bid for funding for the Theatre Venue from the Arts Council has been successful! The work will be taking place over several stages towards completion of the theatre venue

“GOTHIC TUNNEL”

A Theatre & Film Project which will explore the literature & plays from the Gothic tradition. Over 3 days, we will explore the Gothic genre in a theatrical context, culminating in a performance of the work in the tunnel at Creek Creative Studios, which will be filmed. The film will then be presented as an installation at a forthcoming exhibition at Creek Creative Studios.

Dates to be announced. Open to actors aged 14 years upwards

ACTING WORKSHOP WITH JOINT STOCK THEATRE COMPANY (MAX STAFFORD-CLARK)

We are booking a day’s workshop for our Youth Theatre Group for a day’s acting workshop with Joint Stock Theatre. Date & cost will be announced once the date has been confirmed

We are also planning to offer the RSC / Arts Council Shakespeare Challenge Award & be a training centre for this award from September 2011 onwards
